Example Response: I found this article very easy to respond to because it relates to my future. The reason that I say that is because I want to get accepted into college the right way. I don’t want to get rejected because of a petty myspace or facebook profile. I would rather make sure my background is college worthy. I also agree that colleges should check out applicants’ social background because they want to know who they are letting into their school. They may not want any negative-minded people into the college. The reason why I say that is because colleges should be filled with good people that are really serious about their education. I feel that applicants’ should conduct their social life in a good manner if they want to be known as college material. Like some people say “If you want to be something, act like you want to be something.” I don’t think colleges are wrong for this matter. I think they just want to know everything they can possibly know about who’s applying to their school, whether the information comes from their application and facebook/myspace combined. I applaud colleges for doing that.

Remember, you must make a seperate response for each article. That means you have to write a response to each article individually, for a total of 5 responses!!

New Directions for Syllabus

Students,
A number of you all have complained to me stating that you're not able to print the syllabus. This is totally understandable! I will have copies avaliable on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

Please make sure you have page 3 of the syllabus turned in by Friday of this week. Also, we will push our syllabus test to Monday and Tuesday of next week.
